Southwest Louisiana Bar Association

Among the primary goals of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association is to promote high professional and ethical standards among members of the Bar who practice law in Calcasieu and Cameron parishes, as well as to promote compliance with the by-laws, rules and regulations of the Louisiana State Bar Association. The Southwest Louisiana Bar Association works to encourage compliance with the Codes of Professional Responsibility in the practice of law.    In addition, the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association encourages continuing legal education its members.

Finally, Southwest Louisiana Bar Association strives to uphold the honor and dignity of the courts and of the legal profession, to promote the delivery of prompt, efficient and competent professional services to the public; and to promote professional courtesy and cordiality among the member of the Bench and Bar.
